About Me

My name is Rukaiya, and where I live, many people can't pronounce it properly :-(

I love winter.

I love cats. How could anyone prefer a dog to a cat? Cats are majestic; elegant.

I also love Ferrero Rocher, psychology, skiing, some humans, alone-time, writing lists and poems and novels (and now, blogs), reading autobiographies, and reading fiction.

 *

Speaking of fiction, I particularly like psychological thrillers and mysteries. I'm ashamed to admit that I also like some teenage fiction [e.g Mallory Towers, Harry Potter...go ahead, judge me].

I really want to be a real estate mogul. I want to be Donaldina Trump.

I've been on a personal journey over the past year, and in that time, I've learned alot more about myself, my religion and life in general. I am a work-in-progress, but I absolutely love the person I am becoming!

I'm very shy, but you wouldn't know it. I've learned to mask it. When I was in Year 9, my mum signed me up for LAMDA public speaking classes to get me out of my shell, and I have become so confident on stage and in giving presentations because of it.

On the other hand, I am also somewhat opinionated and enjoy having long, meaningful conversations (and debates) with humans smarter than I am.

I'm a neat freak. Many believe that I have OCD. Perhaps borderline.

AND A BONUS ONE BECAUSE I TALK TOO MUCH...

 ...I can't swim. But all my dream destinations are by the ocean [hello, Bora Bora!]
